 Proiseact nan Ealan will be projecting a short World War One film onto the exterior of the An Lanntair Arts Centre in Stornoway as part of the official launch of their ‘Gairm nan Gàidheal’ exhibition this Friday at 6pm, the first projection of its kind for An Lanntair.
Proiseact nan Ealan will be projecting a short World War One film onto the exterior of the An Lanntair Arts Centre in Stornoway as part of the official launch of their ‘Gairm nan Gàidheal’ exhibition this Friday at 6pm, the first projection of its kind for An Lanntair.
The film includes Pathe News footage, local photographs, Gaelic song, poetry and piping.
After this short projection the audience will be piped into the exhibition which will be opened by highly acclaimed historian, Trevor Royle.
This is the first exhibition in a series of five across the Western Isles to commemorate the significant contribution made by the men and women of these islands to the Great War.
