The SNP today officially opened its campaign headquarters in Francis Street, Stornoway, where it will be basing many of its activities in the run up to polling day on May 3.
SNP Candidate for Stornoway South, Rae MacKenzie commented:
“The SNP is serious about making gains on the council, but more importantly about changing how politics is done in the islands for the better. That’s why we have published an ambitious manifesto, and why for many months now we have been out and about on the doorsteps hearing what people’s concerns and priorities are for their communities.
“Now, in the final stages of the campaign, our team of activists are increasingly encouraged, and we will be making use of our new campaign headquarters in Frances Street, as a place for the public to meet candidates and a base from which campaigners will head out to every community.”
