Restricted Sales Information Evening

Trading Standards, Safetywise and the Community Safety Partnership are organising an information evening for Traders on Age Restricted Sales on Wednesday the 16^th February 2011 at 18.30 in the Council Chamber Sandwick Road.

Traders who sell any of the following products may wish to attend.

Alcohol

Tobacco Products,

Offensive Weapons/Knives,

Caps,

Party Poppers,

Fireworks,

DVDs and Videos,

Computer or Consol Games

Airguns and Pellets

Lighter Refills

Lottery Tickets and Scratch Cards,

Aerosol Paints.

Participants will be given information and guidance on the Law relating to Age Restricted Goods, Proof of Age Cards, Refusals Books, and Due Diligence Defences. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions.
