Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is holding a budget seminar on Monday (4th February) to consider the outcomes of the latest round of consultation meetings held throughout the Islands during the past month.
Leader Angus Campbell said: “I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the budgetary consultation process. Despite it being such a challenging process, it is very positive that our communities have engaged to the extent that they have. The Comhairle will now review the budgetary proposals, taking into account the feedback that we have had over the past month of consultation.”
The Comhairle will set its budget on February 14th.
